that’s a wrap! thank you for a successful production of titanic the musical sensation!
Ghostlight Productions proudly closes the curtain on its 10th Anniversary staging of Titanic: The Musical Sensation after an extraordinary nine‑show run — each performance met with a standing ovation. This production was more than a musical; it was a community achievement built on dedication, artistry, and the shared belief that Port Angeles deserves world‑class theatre. The talent that stepped onto the stage night after night delivered performances filled with heart, precision, and emotional depth, transforming the auditorium into a living, breathing story of hope, courage, and humanity.
The success of Titanic was powered not only by its remarkable cast but by the exceptional musicians in the orchestra pit, whose live accompaniment elevated every moment. Under the music direction of John Lorentzen, the orchestrations soared with cinematic richness. The inspired stage direction of Mark Lorentzen, choreography by Anna Pederson, and associate direction by Laura Lorentzen shaped a production that was both visually stunning and emotionally resonant. Every department — costumes, lighting, sound, props, backstage crew, front‑of‑house, and technical support — contributed craftsmanship and care that made each performance unforgettable.
Ghostlight Productions extends its deepest gratitude to the volunteers, families, donors, and community partners who made this milestone possible. From the Clallam County LTAC program to the countless hands who built sets, organized concessions, ushered audiences, and supported the cast and crew, your commitment ensured that this production not only succeeded but shined.
As we celebrate the triumph of Titanic and the joy it brought to thousands of patrons, Ghostlight Productions looks ahead with excitement. The momentum, the talent, and the community spirit that carried this show will fuel the next chapter. GLP is already preparing for its next production — ready to welcome audiences back, ready to raise the bar once again, and ready to continue creating exceptional theatre for the Olympic Peninsula.
Here’s to nine unforgettable performances, nine standing ovations, and a community that believes in the power of live storytelling. Thank you to everyone involved. The voyage continues.
