Course Description

In this performance based, multi-week class—after learning choice techniques, each student will have the opportunity to pick a musical theatre performance piece for themselves.

The bulk of the course consists of students using discussed techniques to workshop their piece with the instructor and other class members in real-time, as there is much to be learned and gained in not only practicing performance, but also observing performance.

The class will culminate in final “audition-style” performances, as each student will end with the experience and tools needed to give an outstanding, personalized, and confident performance.

Participants may also be selected to be featured in an end-of-term showcase.
